I watch the world go by. Doing my best to participate in it. Participating is like trying to cross a busy street without a stop light to protect you and everyone is speeding. If you zig instead of zag you end up in the gutter swallowed up by your stupidity. Yelling at people that pass you by. Screaming at strangers that it is their fault that you failed. Your mother's fault because she did not breast feed you. Your father's fault because he was a drunk and now your a drunk. Every time I see a seemingly healthy person holding a "will work for food" sign on a freeway off ramp I wonder how they ended up there. When did they give up on themselves? They dropped the ball and were waiting for some one else to pick it up. And there was no one.

I see the self appointed high priests trying to convince the world's ignorant fools that they are the savior. They have the answer to what ails the world. Today's Charlatans peddling the cure for global warming, nuclear proliferation, pollution and so on. The common theme seems to be "It is America's fault and they should pay, be punished and beg for the worlds forgiveness." Sorry, I'm not buying. Thank God I'm still in the majority, but for how long.
Some say people are the plague of the world. We should just kill ourselves and get it over with. The Sierra Club believes the government should only allow us to have one child per family. A show of hands please on who is okay with this idea. Those who believe this tripe should be the first to show loyalty to the cause. I'll supply the Kool-aid.
The governor of California backed down from his idea of killing stray animals more immediately - 3 days to die instead of the current 6 -. What a big heart he has. Yet there are people who are fighting to reverse the partial birth abortion act recently passed by the president and congress. I don't get it. In one of the white Scandinavian countries they are using euthanasia on the old, crippled and retarded. Cant wait for that to break out here in America. I should happen about the same time they legalize the good drugs we have all been missing out on. HHMMMM... Maybe not. Your life is only worth something if your convenient to have around. As soon as you become to much trouble you'd better start looking over your shoulder. Who's watches your back if your unborn?
Having written all this I still believe it is worth it. To breath and watch the world move along. With each trend causing waves and ripples felt around the world. When they are traced back to their origin the cause seemed small and insignificant at the time. I can't wait for each day to begin and am sorry to see it go.
